The "anti-inflation quarter" begins today and will last until 31 December 2023. The initiative, promoted by Mimit (Ministry of Business and Made in Italy), has the aim of protecting the purchasing power of citizens. To this end, over 23 thousand points of sale throughout Italy have already joined and will therefore offer products at controlled prices. New registrations are expected in the next few days.

The "anti-inflation quarter" is a government initiative implemented to contain prices and protect the purchasing power of citizens and families, who are now struggling to make it to the end of the month due to the inflationary pressure that has hit our economy. The "anti-inflation quarter" will allow families to save up to 150 euros. Thanks to this initiative, the participating stores undertake to offer a vast range of basic necessities, food and non-food, for children and consumer goods at controlled prices, with the commitment not to increase them until the end of the period. year.
It is a real one “tricolor basket” made available to consumers, with initiatives such as fixed prices, promotions, initiatives on private label products, discounted or single price trolleys. The aforementioned products are easily identifiable because they are characterized by a digital stamp, prepared by the Ministry, which incorporates the colors of our flag and bears the words "anti-inflation quarter". There are various products on sale, including bread and pasta, milk, meat, vegetables, fish, detergents and personal products. Participating shops and supermarkets will also display the tricolor trolley sticker outside the shops.
