Ferrari, made in Italy excellence, winner of the Compasso d'Oro.

Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Pagani, Abarth, but also Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia. The Italian car market is of the highest range and certain models are considered true icons of the car world.
When it comes to speed it is impossible not to associate with the local motor industry, and every year prizes and awards are showered in the most prestigious competitions around the world.
It happens sometimes that the roaring Italian models also manage to win competitions not really dedicated to engines, but to design, style or beauty like the one recently won by Ferrari.
The history of the Maranello house is known all over the world. What we want to tell you instead concerns one of his latest creations, namely the Ferrari FXX K.

the extraordinary strength of the Ferrari FXX K - winner of the Compasso d'Oro

Presented at the 2014 Ferrari World Finals in Abu Dhabi, the Ferrari FXX K is one of the models of the FXX program (the research and development program of the prancing horse) which aims to create very high performance prototypes, not homologated for free driving on road, and to develop increasingly advanced technologies to be used on the models marketed.
The development and innovations are not just about the mechanical parts, but also the style and design. And that of the Ferrari FXX K left the experts in the sector particularly impressed, so much so that it triumphed at the prestigious awards of the Red Dot Design Award 2015 and the Compasso d'Oro 2016.
The two competitions are considered the Oscar and the Nobel Prize of industrial design, and winning them both is synonymous with pure excellence and a great source of Italian pride. In particular, that of the Compasso d'Oro, won last June, has an even greater value if we consider the historical importance of this award. In fact, we are talking about the oldest and most prestigious competition for industrial design in the world, established in 1954 by Gio Ponti (one of the most important designers of the twentieth century) and managed directly by ADI (Association for Industrial Design). The jury, composed mainly of journalists, critics, historians and experts in world design, saw in the Ferrari FXX K that mix of style and innovation useful to make the Maranello Supercar one of the thirteen winners of the 2016 edition.
Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari Style and Design Director, thus collected the coveted prize during the award ceremony held on June 14th at Palazzo Isimbardi in Milan, further enriching the showcase of the Modenese car manufacturer.
The Compasso d'Oro award is not the only award Manzoni won in 2016. In March the Italian designer won the Red Dot Design Award for another Ferrari model, the F 488 GTB, repeating the success achieved in 2015. with the FXX K.
One success after another for what is probably the true symbol, all Italian, of speed in the world: Ferrari.
