For 70 years the Po Delta area has been the fifth for over 40 films, documentaries and video clips. A few examples? An episode of Paisà by Roberto Rossellini was shot in Porto Tolle. Occhiobello and the Ferrara embankments were the site of Luchino Visconti's Ossessione event. The work of the "peociari", the clam fishermen of the Sacca degli Scardovari, the largest mussel garden in the Upper Adriatic, was documented in 1961 by the Venetian filmmaker Renato Dall'Ara and the same place used by Pupi Avati in his The house of laughing windows.

Carlo Mazzacurati has set Italian night e The right distance between Porto Viro and Porto Tolle, of whose Contarina hamlet we find some glimpses of it The holiday, one of the first works of Tinto Brass, with Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero.

Recently Zucchero shot the video of Voices on the beach of the Conchiglie of the Barricata Holiday Village. A resort village in Porto Tolle (RO), in a strategic position within the Park to be explored on horseback, by boat or by bicycle.

A tour through the nature of Rovigo

In the province of Rovigo rivers are important. The Adige and the Po are joined by a cycle path which is just one of the many two-wheeled routes that run along it. It's a slow tourism by bicycle along the banks, by boat among the reeds and the dense riparian vegetation. Or on foot to observe the more than 350 different species of water birds, including the famous pink flamingos, which nest in the valleys of the Po Delta, Man and Biosphere Unesco reserve. Here the river opens like a fan dividing into seven branches before flowing into the Adriatic and with deposits of sand carried by the current over the centuries it has created oases and "benches".

Il Delta it is thus the youngest land in Italy with only 400 years of history that can be discovered in Botanical Garden of Porto Caleri in Rosolina Mare , 30 hectares of coastline divided into educational paths of various lengths.

Adria was very important in ancient times and in fact gave its name to the sea. It houses a large Archaeological Museum which remembers the finds of Greco-Roman-Etruscan art.
