A garden for Ezio Bosso
In recent days, on the proposal of the mayor Chiara Appendino, the municipal toponymy commission has indicated which place will be dedicated to the Turin conductor. The memory of Ezio Bosso will be linked to the gardens of piazza Statuto. The positive vote of the commission officially established the title to the musician of the gardens overlooked by Palazzo Paravia. This is clearly a symbolic gesture. A gesture that encompasses the desire of the entire city not to forget Bosso and his great love for Turin.
The mayor's request
In reality, as mentioned above, the decision to dedicate the gardens to the memory of Ezio Bosso is not of the last days. Already in the aftermath of his late death, the mayor Chiara Appendino he had expressed the desire to tangibly emphasize the Master's bond with the city. As the first citizen pointed out in a post on social media, had proposed "that a place in the city be dedicated to the everlasting memory of the man, the artist, who with his talent has honored Turin all over the world". With the positive vote obtained in the toponymy commission, the mayor's wish has become a reality. “Today, finally, we can say that this place will be there, also above all thanks to many citizens who have mobilized in this sense”, concluded Chiara Appendino.

With this decision it is therefore established an even stronger relationship between the musician and his city. Turin has not forgotten Maestro Ezio Bosso and, by virtue of this choice, it will never forget him. The request, as we have seen, although formalized by the first citizen, had come from many places. In fact, many Turinese have expressed the desire, if not the need, to underline the embrace of the city in Bosso with a gesture of this magnitude. Now the Master will have "his" garden and his name will be closely linked to that of the city that gave him birth.
