Hello everyone! I'm Estefania Videtto, 32 years old from Italy and Argentina. I left my beautiful Buenos Aires un
couple of months ago to embark on the adventure of living in the Old Continent, more precisely in Málaga,
in Spain. My love for Italy began as a child: I come from a family of Piedmontese and Lucanian origins and, in some way, Italy has always been my second home for me.
Fortunately, my family had also decided to take me as a child to visit relatives in that distant country, and so, the stories and places that my great-grandfather Tommaso told me when I went to visit him became reality for me. When I turned 18 I wanted to get even closer to Italy, but this time through its language. I confidently believe that the best way to know and understand a person who belongs to a culture other than your own is to learn his language. That said, I launched into the study of Italian in Ramos Mejia's wonderful Dante Alighieri while studying Public Relations at university. Once I graduated, in Buenos Aires, I moved to Milan to attend a Masters in management of events, fairs and congresses at the Fiera Milano Foundation Academy.
After the Master I returned to Buenos Aires to continue my career path close to my family, but by now the bond with Italy would never be broken again. I continued to work in companies where they needed staff who spoke Italian because it also allowed me not to
losing the language level I had acquired in Italy. One day, by chance, while I was on vacation in Australia, I received an invitation to attend a teacher training course at the University of Tres de Febrero in collaboration with the Corrado Alvaro Association for the teaching of the Italian language. This opened another door that I had not imagined was possible: the possibility of teaching Italian. Thanks to this course I was able to attend the Assisi Italian Language Academy and from then on I had the opportunity to teach Italian at all levels and for all ages.
