The growth of an ideal: the eco-village
The ecovillage is the need to reunite with mother nature. More and more people are changing their choice of life. From chaotic metropolises, polluted by smog and subject to strict homologation rules. To the desire to want to live immersed in an ecological village.
Desire arises precisely from a sensitivity that has developed in recent years. Which tends to respect for oneself and for the environment. The ever faster creation of ecovillages is a clear message to mankind. Which forcefully declares a tiredness for everything related to a polluted life. Without a morality that defends the environment.
The ecovillage is a way to find yourself from the starting point. But being able to do it with more knowledge thanks to evolution, studies and new means that can allow greater effectiveness for a project to protect the environment.
What is life like in the ecovillage?
Within the ecovillage an attempt is thus made to minimize the environmental impact. Each ecovillage is self-sufficient, it is possible within this to give life to small collaborative communities. These produce by themselves what is necessary for survival. It is therefore consequential to avoid having to deal with other economic models and to settle in total autonomy. The production of the vegetable garden, the construction of a house, the sharing of one's space with the rest of the village and keeping away from political flags.
In this way we want to give way to a completely new lifestyle that is far from that proposed in the metropolis. That it does not focus on revolving the economy around a penny, rather on being able to each have a way of living independently.
Ecovillages in Italy
As evidence of what has been said, the number of ecovillages in Italy has increased in the space of a few years. Now there are eighty communities that have decided to live independently, relying on the limitation of the environmental impact and on self-production by creating small orchards and gardens from which to draw their source of survival. The ecovillage is not an exclusive community: it is possible to enter out of curiosity, for learning or to try to experience the new in total respect of its inhabitants, their lifestyle and their ideals of serenity.
