In Matera it starts today April XNUMX "Pasqua experience, the journey of man”, the historical-cultural journey that will continue until Easter Monday. Proposed by the Matera-based company MEF, the itinerary aims to give body and soul to the narration of Easter rites in the evocative setting of the Sassi Matera.
Easter experience
Starting from the square San Pietro Caveoso along vico Solitario, you then enter the Casalnuovo district towards vico San Lorenzo, to arrive in via Bruno Buozzi. At the end of the itinerary, visitors will find a small square dedicated to voluntary associations that promote charitable initiatives during the Easter period. In collaboration with the Matera section of the CSV Basilicata, Made in Carcere, the Ail of Matera, the Celeste Volunteer Association, Aura Blu and Con Cuore Impavido will be present. This is a great opportunity to get to know and support these partnerships that work with commitment and passion for the good of the community. With "Pasqua experience" we want to offer visitors a highly emotional "experience", where the Sassi are not just a scenery, but become a living space for the story.
Central pivot of the idea is to present great works of art world artistic tradition on Easter themes, in a reinterpretation that highlights the salient figures of the work, entrusting their interpretation to actors. The narration will be of a multimedia type and will contribute to creating a great narrative fresco of the Easter. The use of different artistic means is expected, including scenographic installations, costumed actors, sound effects, video projections. In practice, the project retraces the salient stages of the religious celebration by creating an itinerary of 11 narrative areas, including one for children with the symbols of Easter and the active involvement of parishes, associations, professionals, artists, extras and craftsmen.
