From 20 April on the basis of the infections and the progress of the vaccination plan, the possibility of some opening by the end of the month will be evaluated in the Council of Ministers. But May will be the month of the restart: therefore all the ministries are at work, they are building the protocols to be able to restart". These are the declarations of Minister for Regional Affairs Mariastella Gelmini.
While the government is thinking of finally getting the vaccination campaign off the ground and restarting the economy, the trend of the pandemic curve in Italy is always under close observation. As for the infections of the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health makes it known that they have been registered in our country 9.789 new positive cases (yesterday 15.746). The new deaths are 358 (yesterday 331); the discharged healed are 18.010 (yesterday 15.486). Overall, the positive cases are 524.417, in practice 8.588 less than yesterday.
