Covid emergency, the rate of positivity is down and the number of hospitalizations in intensive care is also decreasing. There are 14.372 new positive cases registered in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to the data released by Ministry of Health. The victims are 492. Yesterday the positives were 15.204 and the dead 467.
There are 275.179 tests for the Coronavirus (molecular and antigenic) carried out in Italy in the last 24 hours, again according to what was announced by the ministry. Yesterday there were 293.770. The positivity rate is 5,2 %% (yesterday it was 5,17%). The discharged healed today are 17.220 (yesterday 19.172). Overall, the positive cases are 474.617, 3.352 cheaper than yesterday.
Positivity and hospitalizations are decreasing
ICU admissions for Covid-19 are down by 64 units in the balance between income and expenditure compared to yesterday, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Daily admissions are 102. In total there are currently in resuscitation 2.288 people with Covid. On the other hand, they are hospitalized in the ordinary wards 20.778 patients, down by 383 unity compared to yesterday
Red and dark red regions
The ECDC (European Center for Disease Prevention and Control) has corrected the map on infections from Covid, published today. In the new version, Veneto and Emilia Romagna are no longer dark red but only red. In Italy, the areas defined as highly contagious - and therefore in dark red - remain Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
