Cinema. According to the data and preferences of Italians, December is the month of cinema. And so, even the movie houses are ready to do battle.

At the cinema this year there will really be something for all tastes: from Italian comedy to Disney classic, from dramatic films to documentary films.

What films will be seen during the Christmas holidays?

  • Escape from Reuma Park (in cinemas from December 15th). The Italian actors they are the three comedians Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, who by now almost ninety years old, meet again in Reuma Park, the surreal old people's home where they have been abandoned. On Christmas Eve, while the traditional bingo party is in progress in the hospice, the trio decides to escape. The plan is crazy: to reach the Navigli of Milan and set sail with Giovanni's boat heading for Rio de Janeiro. Obviously it won't be easy. On their trail is the apparently ruthless Ludmilla (played by Silvana Fallisi), an imposing Russian caregiver.
  • Poor but rich (in cinemas from December 15th). A film by Fausto Brizzi. The main Italian actors are the couple De Sica & Brignano. But the real revelation of this film will be Mazzamauro.

A brutally funny film whose protagonists are the Tuccis, a family not really used to the refinements of high society. After a millionaire win, he aspires to enter the world of luxury. There will be various surprise appearances including Al bano and Giobbe Covatta.

  • Christmas in London (in cinemas from December 15th). A film by Volfango De Biasi.

The "Brexit" will also have removed England from Europe but the charm of London remains immutable. The capital of the other side of the Channel is the perfect setting for an “exotic” cinepanettone, even if almost everything was filmed in Rome. The prime minister, the guards with the typical fur hats, the Queen and her dogs are also involved in the story.

In fact, at the center of the plot there are precisely them: two four-legged "corgi" breed beloved by Elizabeth (played by double Patricia Ford) and very precious. For this reason they end up in the crosshairs of a gang of kidnappers led by Erminio & Prisco (Lillo & Greg), sons of “Er Duca”, a criminal boss played by Ninetto Davoli.

  • Mister happiness (in theaters from January 1st). A film by Alessandro Siani, who with his polite mix of optimism and good humor, is preparing to break the bank again after the more than 15 million euros brought home by "We accept miracles".

The story this time takes place in the Deep North. The indolent Martino has moved from Campania to Switzerland, where he lives as a guest of his sister. A series of misunderstandings leads him to take the place of Doctor Gioia (played by Abatantuono), a coach who specializes in motivating people in psychological difficulty. Passing off as his assistant, Martino takes care of a skating champion in crisis after a bad fall. But the European championships are approaching. Will the "abusive guru" be able to perform the miracle?

Which Italian actors are already present in the cinemas?

At the cinema, Massimo Boldi and Biagio Izzo in A Christmas in the South. Peppino and Ambrogio discover that their children are experiencing "virtual" love affairs with girls they met on the Internet. To make them meet in person they will get into trouble also because of a woman (Anna Tatangelo) who falls in love with Peppino.

Claudio Bisio, Angela Finocchiaro and Alessandro Gassmann in There is no more religion.

The mayor of a southern village wants to organize a living nativity scene with Sister Marta. But they need the help of Marietto, an Italian convert to Islam. Understanding will not be easy.

Riccardo Scamarcio and Laura Chiatti in The Christmas dinner. The Italian actors and protagonists of "I love only you" are back. After the eventful marriage, the couple wants a baby. But between misunderstandings, escapades, missing jewels and an epochal snowfall, their projects will be upset.
