Charge Advisor: the navigator designed for electric cars
One of the typical problems of electric cars is theautonomy. The most common batteries guarantee us several hundred km, but in the moment in which you stay dry problems can arise. This is because the charging points are not yet particularly widespread, and therefore we must carefully plan the route so as not to find ourselves on foot.
Fortunately, from today it will be much easier to manage all this. Charge Advisor is in fact an app designed specifically for the navigation of electric vehicles. Its operation is very similar to that of a common navigator, but there are several interesting options that will prevent our car from discharging prematurely. Once the application is started, we will be able to know in detail the charging status of the car, with its remaining autonomy. After setting the destination, the system will calculate the shortest and least expensive route in terms of energy. It will also tell us where the nearest charging points are, and the traffic status of each individual road. All this thanks to algorithms Smart Trip Planning, specially designed for these calculations. In short, Charge Advisor can be a lifeline for all distracted motorists!
An idea of Ares2T
The creators of Charge Advisor are the guys fromApplied Research to Technologies srl (Ares2T), a small Roman startup founded in September 2013. Born thanks to the collaboration of some Lazio entrepreneurs and brilliant researchers, the work of Ares2T covers several sectors. Sectors ranging from private transport to the creation of software for the optimization of various systems. A beautiful reality that in a few years is establishing itself in the world of technology. They have an active collaboration with Enel about projects Mobincity e Smart Vehicle to Grid. And now they are establishing themselves with Charge Advisor, which has already garnered several mentions and accolades. In 2016 the project was also presented to both the Cop 21 of Paris (the climate convention) which al European Parliament.
