Angelo Marino, born in 1937, of Calabrian origins, earned his second degree in Literature atUniversity of Siena. The first degree and career

Mr. Marino had obtained the first degree in Law on the topic of criminal law in 1962, with a thesis on activities related to fraud. He worked as a lawyer and then served as municipal secretary in some municipalities in Piedmont, Liguria, Umbria and Tuscany, including Montalcino, Sinalunga and Cortona, before finishing his career as General Secretary of the Province of Siena.
