Alba International White Truffle Fair. This year there will be five major cities connected live, Sunday 13 November, with the Grinzane castle Cavour of Cuneo for the 23rd edition of the world auction of the Alba white truffle. Initiative that will see the proceeds donated to charity.

The five cities are Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Doha and Vienna. In the monumental building that belonged to Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour, in the heart of the Langhe, prestigious guests are expected. Among these Alberto Barbera, director of the International Film Festival organized by the Venice Biennale. And the actor and director Andrea Bosca, star of 'Radical Novel', the Rai docufiction on Marco Pannella, shot by Mimmo Calopreste, to be released on 11 November on Rai Tre. There will also be the former footballer Gianluca Vialli and the sports manager Massimo Mauro. Since 1999, the world auction has raised 5 million euros, donated to charitable organizations and projects in Italy and around the world.
Alba International White Truffle Fair
Also this year the most precious lots of the Tuber magnatum Pico, the white truffle of Alba, will be auctioned, in combination with the large formats of the wines of the producers belonging to the Consortium for the Protection of Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe and Dogliani. The charity initiative is organized by the Cavour Piedmontese Regional Enoteca, with the support of the Piedmont Region, Enit - Italian National Tourism Agency, Langhe Monferrato Roero Tourist Board, International Alba White Truffle Fair,
National Center for Truffle Studies and Order of the Knights of Truffles and Wines of Alba. “The Truffle Auction - underlines the President of the Region, Alberto Cirio - represents one of the most anticipated moments of autumn in Piedmont. Always an opportunity to consolidate international ties with those who are in love with our land and our Unesco hills ". The fair that started in October will go on until next December 4th.
