Good morning ceramics 2023 invites May 20 and 21 to a widespread party, to participate in the most diverse forms in an unusual art experience, to a mobilization that narrates a creative Italy. An artistic narrative that starts from laboratories, ateliers, ovens; passing through the shops and art galleries. And then back on the street, in the square, in the schools, in the museums, in the parks, on the sea.

Good morning ceramic

There are 45 Ceramic Cities scattered throughout Italy where in the space of a weekend, organized by AiCC, performances, workshops and concerts follow each other every year. Aperitifs with the master, tastings, exhibitions, installations, guided tours, workshops, readings, trekking and much more. A festival concentrated in two days with open doors. In the penultimate weekend of May you can discover a whole world where the art of the ceramist is conceived and created. They can meet the protagonists, the artisans, the young artists, the designers, see them work, touch the clay, perhaps try to get on the wheel, glaze, understand the value of the handmade.

They can enter museums and galleries, follow themed itineraries, learn about secular traditions and discover the most innovative creativity. You can participate in collective workshops or have small individual work sessions. Shopping for unique pieces, discovering at the table how much more beautiful food served on a handcrafted dish is or maybe listening to music made with ceramic instruments. Have breakfast with “Buongiorno Ceramica”. The aim is to promote artistic and artisan ceramics, to bring it back to the center of Italian sensibility and customs.

Art City

"With AiCC, the Italian Association of Ceramic Cities, promoter of the event, it is always kept alive the attention and passion for this art which represents the cultural identity for many Italian territories”. So the president of AiCC Massimo Isola. The initiatives, continuously updated, can be consulted on the website www.buongiornoceramica.it and take place simultaneously over the course of the "two days" in cities with an ancient ceramic tradition throughout the country and in some European ceramic cities.
