A Vibo Valentia get Cursed Indie Spring, new initiative by Vibers, Association for social promotion, which will bring the vibonese into a totally new atmosphere with ben seven appointments da April to July. It starts on April 6th at the Castle Bar.
Spring has arrived in Vibo Valentia and it does so by bringing with it a fresh format that gives space to the youngest. After the experience of the Bivona Beach Festival - which gave life to the Vibers social promotion association in 2021 - this new project features artists from the Italian indie scene, coming from all over the national but also regional territory.
We will go from the aperitif until late at night, with 7 dates already decided but not all revealed yet. Departure Thursday 6 April with Dilestage name of Francesco di Lello, one of the most talented singer-songwriters from Abruzzo on the new Italian scene. He begins his recording career in 2019 with very important results: the debut single, Perdersi, enters the Spotify Viral 50 playlist after a few days and his second single, Rewind, now has over two million plays. In November 2020 Rewind, his debut album, has been released, which has reached 9 million streams. In the 2022 returns with a new phase of his project that explodes the listening numbers with "When I see you" and "Mondocane", which total over 5 million reproductions on Spotify. His new single "Sidewalks" was released a few days ago, which precedes the release of the new album.
Cursed Indie Spring will help finance the new edition of the Bivona Beach Festival which every year fills the beaches of the Vibonese area with healthy competition and live music, promoting moments of sharing, culture, responsibility and participation, leaders of the Association.
Another point of union between the two projects will be the contest launched by the Association which sees the long-awaited summer stage up for grabs.
"We intend to do something more than we had imagined at the beginning - begins Tocco, President of the Vibers Association - as well as bringing a new and fresh event to Vibo, we have decided to give space to 7 young emerging artists who are selecting during these hours. Up for grabs is the chance to go on stage at the Bivona Beach Festival where we assure you that there will be plenty of fun again this year. The accessions that are arriving are many and it will not be easy to choose only 7 emerging authors. We want Maledetta Primavera Indie and the Bivona Beach Festival to bring back to the province of Vibo Valentia an enthusiasm that has been missing for too many years, at least for our generation - concludes Tocco - to do this we need the support of all the Vibonese who want to contribute to the rebirth of a city that can really say a lot, and we will prove it.
