The firefighters: true example of love that defeats fear
Being a firefighter is not a job like everyone else. Being a firefighter is a real vocation.
Yes, because they are those who have a heart full of love greater than fear. Fear is an emotion that blocks you, paralyzes you, makes you lose your lucidity. And it is the love for the importance of life that the firefighters have that overcomes everything to save it.
We are Italian and we are lucky. Our firefighters are not immortal, even if they are called "angels". They are those heroes, and no, not the heroes you see in the movies. They are the ones who, even knowing how much they risk, have the courage to run to help, save you and, more importantly, give psychological support. Calm down, placate the neuroses, hysteria, panic attacks of those in need, their family and friends.
Yeah, I'm that kind of "hero". Normal human beings who do extraordinary things.
The Italian difficulties, hope and salvation
Those who are always in the balance between life and death and who see their work accomplished even with just a smile or a simple "thank you".
The work the firefighters did between 2016 and early 2017 is invaluable. Italy has faced and still faces a period of crisis linked to natural disasters that violently hit the boot to the point of creating sadness, desolation and destruction.
The concern that has gripped the hearts of Italians in recent months and weeks has put a strain on the exercise carried out by the firefighters. Not for this they were discouraged and for this we have so stopped hoping.
Despite the bad mood they were able to bring smiles back to the face of the whole of Italy, bringing home the gratitude and love that is due to them.
Germany recognizes the work of the fire brigade in Italy
this is why even Germany was moved by the spirit of our angels. These are the heroes who made their work resonate strongly showing how much it was possible to trust in solidarity and in their vocation.
Germany recognized the firefighters by awarding them as the best in the world. They won the fifth edition of the World of Firefighters, Conrad Dietrich Magirus Award 2016. The awards day which took place last January in Ulm.
After the earthquake that hit Italy during the month of August, a certain award was already given, following the latest events due to the snow, a confirmation.
A prize, a thank you, a smile. The gratitude that Italy has towards the people who run to save our lives will never be enough. Despite this, the firefighters will always be there, ready to help us to see us happy.
