On May 6, the "Saturday of the Winemaker“. The event, now in its second edition, is organized by the local delegations of the Fivi (Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers) to tell enthusiasts and not only the territorial realities of the over 1.500 members.

The promoters of the event let it be known that there are 22 events organized from north to south in as many locations on the peninsula. The events are held in farms and cellars, but also in places of art or restaurants belonging to the Fivi 'points of affection' network, which become the theater for direct encounters with the association's winemakers and women. The appointments have different formats, freely decided and organized by the winemakers of each different territory. Single or collective tasting tables are foreseen, master classes, picnics and walks in the vineyards, live music.
“After the great success of the first edition, which involved almost 10 participants in the various appointments, the local delegations - says Diletta Nember, vice president of Fivisi - have reactivated with a truly exciting energy. And if last year there were 18 events, this year there will be 22, with new features such as Abruzzo, Liguria, the Langhe and the Roero. Locations that bear witness to how this event has now entered the hearts of winemakers and winemakers. In fact, it must be said - Nember adds - that these appointments are all organized directly by the winemakers, spontaneously and voluntarily. It is a unique opportunity to meet, consolidate associative ties and positive relationships between colleagues. For the public, it is an opportunity to get to know the winemakers in their maximum expression of genuineness and authenticity”.
