"The shape of water" is the first novel published in 1994 by Camilleri. These pages "present" Commissioner Montalbano to the general public, for the first time in Italy. A detective novel by Camilleri, a sort of starting grid for the television series, known all over the world. This character, at times gruff, takes its name in homage to the writer Manuel Montalban, appreciated by Camilleri. After the editorial successes, the episodes got millions of plays on Rai2 and Rai1.
