Big surprise in Cellino San Marco, in the province of Brindisi, where the Salento singer Al Bano Carrisi inaugurated the exhibition "…it's my life!"
At the time of the ribbon cutting for the inauguration, the friend of the singer and well-known TV presenter showed up on the spot, Gerry Scottic. Two Italians known in Italy and (above all Al Bano Carrisi) abroad. Gerry Scottic he is spending his holidays in Salento and the visit was obviously greatly appreciated by the singer.
The Albano Carrisi exhibition
Al Bano during the exhibition spoke of his love for his city and his beloved Salento. There passion for the land has always been very strong and rooted. But the exhibition is also much more: family, origins, civil commitment, culture, claimed by the singer all over the world. The exhibition was born from the idea of the Kelainos association which organized the event by searching through the photos of the Salento artist's life. "Our thanks go to Al Bano for having made available so much material, even unpublished material" the association was keen to underline.
Al Bano celebrates 80 years
La exhibition is part of a series of events organized for the eightieth birthday of Al Bano Carrisi. Born on May 20, 1943, the singer has just turned 80 and with this exhibition he wanted to show a little of himself and, indeed, of his life.
