The International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2023
At the start thirteenth edition of the International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2023. The event, organized byassociation Live Paestum, brings hot air balloons from all over the world to the Campania city in a highly evocative setting. Paestum, for nine days, will allow you to experience the thrill of flight while admiring the unique panorama of the site with the sea, the pine forest, the city and above all the temples from above, known throughout the world for their beauty and majesty .
You can choose to carry out free and tethered flights. The first will allow you to fly over the area upon reservation, starting from the archaeological area and landing in complete safety.
In tethered flight, the hot air balloon will remain anchored to the ground with special ropes and will rise in flight for 20-25 meters. Two different but compelling experiences.
The event, every year, is always a great success due to its particularity. Hot air ballooning is usually associated with Cappadocia. A unique and evocative experience that can finally be experienced in Italy too.
It is an event with various proposals: there will also be shows with buskers, flag-wavers, kites, an equipped play area dedicated to the little ones and a catering area with a bar and pizzeria but also an exhibition of local products and educational workshops.
The event held in Paestum is among the five most international hot air balloon festivals suggestive of the world.
