After the refereeing errors and the endless consequent controversies, Nasca (VAR in Inter-Verona), Fabbri (referee in Inter-Verona) and Marini (VAR in Sassuolo-Fiorentina), were thought to have been "downgraded" to Serie B.

The three they were stopped and were not designated neither in Serie A nor in Serie B. A choice of respect towards the cadet category.
