It's called SF-23 and it's the new single-seater from the Ferrari team which, on the occasion of the presentation, covered several laps on the the circuit of Fiorano. Many enthusiasts who sat in the grandstands of the Prancing Horse track witnessed the debut of what is the 69th single-seater produced by the Italian brand.

After two years of presentation virtual, The new Ferrari SF-23 appeared before a large audience. Also present were several students from the Motorvehicle University of Emilia Romagna and students from the "Alfredo Ferrari" high school. The Italian single-seater will take part in the first race of the Formula 1 world championship which will begin on 5 March with the first round in Bahrain.

The presentation was attended by Fred Vasseur, the new Ferrari Team Principal and the drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. The name of the car returns to the ancient custom of the past, with the initials "Scuderia Ferrari" and the competitive year. The first to lap the Fiorano circuit at the wheel of the Ferrari SF-23 was Charles Leclerc, after two laps it was Carlos Sainz's turn.

 The SF-23 is the eighth single-seater to have the abbreviation SF, which for the fourth time follows the competitive year. The years since the foundation of the company were celebrated on two occasions (with the SF70H, SF71H of 2017 and 2018). And, on another occasion, those since the creation of the Scuderia (with the SF90 of 2019) and in 2020 the milestone of a thousand Grands Prix held (SF1000).
