The start of the new season is also approaching for Serie C. The Serie C calendars will be published on Monday 7 August.
This was the announcement by Matteo Marani, president of Lega Pro, at the end of the Federal Council, taken from the Sky website. “The championship will start on 3 September with advances and postponements, it seemed right to us to wait for the decision of the Council of State (on the repechage, ed) of 29 August. The start of the Serie C Italian Cup will instead be set after the start of the championship. I am sure it will be an even better season than the past one with many young players and in which the real Italy will participate with the presence of clubs in almost all regions followed by the passion of their fans"
Serie C, groups still to be made official
The Serie C groups have yet to be formalised. The Lega Pro Board of Directors was convened on Monday 7 August in the morning and will start the configuration of the groups. In the afternoon, at 15 pm, the draw for the match calendars for the 2023/24 season will be announced on the Lega Pro official website.
