“Cuoche combatenti” is a social entrepreneurship project which aims at the economic emancipation of women victims of gender-based violence. The association moves concretely by giving them the opportunity to move away from unhealthy environments and to place themselves in a working perspective through the recovery, production, marketing of traditional popular recipes.

The artisanal products are born from traditional recipes, using 0 km raw material from organic crops to guarantee respect for the Earth and the genuineness of the final product. 
The cooks rediscover popular recipes, we adapt the poor but genuine "cuisine" of the grandmothers, they use the products of the earth and keep them as they did in the past, to enjoy seasonal flavors all year round. They use local products, for the reaffirmation of the culture and the territory.

Products of the fighting cooks

Each product has a talking label that aims to combat violence against women, dismantle stereotypes and relational roles that "authorize" abuse, unmask violence, strengthen self-esteem and personal freedom. This is why the project is aimed at all women, for a common and shared knowledge. From the need to share the acquired awareness comes the project of the "Anti-violence labels" that are affixed to every production of the Combattenti cooks.
