The Salumeria Monteporo Dairy of Tommaso Pugliese snc., contains all the taste of tradition. Since 1981 it has been producing handcrafted genuine products, fresh or seasoned, with a unique flavor. A small family-run business, led by the master dairyman Tommaso Pugliese, located on the Monte Porto plateau, nestled between the green hills and the Costa degli Dei. A pleasant place, where the breeding and extensive grazing of dairy animals is still practiced today, the main ingredient of all the dairy products of the company. Tommaso and his collaborators know all the secrets of milk processing and carry out each phase of production by hand. From the careful choice of raw materials - selected from small and certified farms - to manual salting, up to the seasoning studied and attentive to the resting times of each individual cheese. Craftsmanship, tradition, naturalness are the secret ingredients that give each product a unique flavor, a rare goodness.

At the Caseificio Salumeria Monteporo we find cheeses for all tastes: from cow's milk to mixed Monte Poro. Up to the famous pecorino, fresh with a sweet flavor, or aged with a more aromatic and decisive flavor, considered among the best in Italy. The chilli cheese is delicious, in which the delicacy of the milk blends perfectly with the spiciness of the chilli pepper grown on the Poro. To be tasted slice by slice are the traditional provola, the Calabrian provola and the mozzarella. As for cured meats, there is a wide choice: capocollo, 'nduja di Spilinga, sausage and soppressata.
