Sale, Sale, Sale: Bargain Hunting! In all Italy The end-of-season discounts officially start tomorrow (January 5), even if the sales season has already started in some regions. But, have we ever wondered what is meant by sales? They are at discounted prices of clothing and accessories that are offered to potential customers when the current season is almost over.
They usually take place in two periods of the year: in early January after the Christmas holidays for winter clothing; and early July for the summer season. But how long should the end-of-season discounts last? The end of the sale, just like the start, does not have a precise date because it is different for each region. The discount period on a national scale generally lasts 60 days, always with some 'digression on the subject' from region to region. The sales of this particular period are called balances because it is a a word that has now entered common jargon and is closely linked to a sort of commercial lexicon. So sales are the goods that have not been sold in a shop at the end of the season and the sale itself of the unsold. Moreover, there are mandatory factors that characterize the sale in the discount season. In fact, it is mandatory for merchants to clearly display the original and discounted price of the goods, with the relative percentage discount applied. However, it is not mandatory to change after thepurchase. This is generally left to the trader's discretion, unless the product has serious hidden defects, in which case the obligation to replace or refund the price is triggered.
