We are driving, perhaps struggling with a long journey. After several hours behind the wheel, our concentration begins to decline. As soon as the eyelids start to get heavier, our glasses beep, warning us of the danger. This is not a gadget from some science fiction movie, but gods SafiloX, the glasses produced by the Italian sapphire. But how do they work?

The glasses of tomorrow: SafiloX

In truth the full name would be Lowdown Focus Mpowered and bear the signature of sapphire e Interaxon (hence the name SafiloX). Introduce yourself to the last one CES of Las Vegas, they look like ordinary sunglasses, but inside they hide a mix of top-level technology. In fact, they are equipped with various sensors capable of measuring the brain waves of the wearer, and monitoring the movement of the pupils at all times. We are talking about the technology of brainwave sensing, which in recent years has made great strides. Thanks to this futuristic jewel you will have constant control of brain activity, and instant feedback on the level of our concentration.

Many colorants

Obviously the use of SafiloX will certainly not be that of classic sunglasses. A few are currently using them athletes to improve their performance. Don't worry, this is not doping, but a help to manage the mental stress of training. In fact, sensors measure the activity of the brain during exercises, in order to signal any anomalies or distractions. Everything is recorded in the app, which projects the data collected in some graphs. Doing so optimizes the sessions, with a consequent improvement in final performance.

At the moment there are few lucky people who can use this technology (sportsmen, coaches and doctors), but in the autumn the SafiloX will be on sale in Europe and the USA. Furthermore, the company is developing, with the collaboration of'Catholic University of Milan, a technology to be applied in the medical field. The target? Prevent migraines in those at risk, so that they can intervene before the peak of the seizures.
