Flash visit to the splendid Tropea for the actor Oscar winner Russell Crowe, unforgettable interpreter of "Gladiator" and other blockbusters. The artist is currently in Calabria where tomorrow, Tuesday 20 June, at the Politeama theater in Catanzaro, he will perform with his band “Indoor Garden Parties”.

The one in Catanzaro is the first concert of his Italian tour. Accompanying the New Zealand actor and singer is the founder and director of Magna Graecia Film Festival, Gianvito Casadonte. In Tropea, a town in the Coast of the Gods at the center of the international tourist circuit for several years now, Crowe has made a 'hit and run'. Just enough time to take some selfies in the magnificent scenery of the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea and taste the local delicacies in the company of his band and some Italian friends.

Today Crowe, in monumental complex of San Giovanni di Catanzaro, presents the show that will be held at the Politeama. A wide repertoire between rock, folk and country, with original songs, of which he is largely co-author. “I am happy and proud – said Casadonte – to be able to welcome an icon of world cinema and music. A great artist who has chosen Catanzaro and the Magna Graecia Film Festival as the first leg of the tour in Italy. With him his band, the Indoor garden Party, a group of extraordinary artists that we will have the opportunity to admire live for an unforgettable evening ”. The presence and musical performance of the 2001 Oscar winner is part of the program of the 2023 edition, the twentieth, of the Magna Graecia film festival which will take place in Catanzaro Lido from 29 July to 5 August next.
