The famous is scheduled for Sunday 19 March Run Rome The Marathon, the marathon in the center of Rome. The route winds around dozens of monuments and historical-cultural sites: it is the only marathon in the world that can boast such beauty and artistic richness. A decidedly exciting route about 42 km long, with start and finish on the Imperial Forums, which touches the most significant places of the Eternal City.
Run Rome The Marathon
A few minutes before the start there will be a performance by the Frecce Tricolori which will spread over the sky of the Eternal City and Imperial Forums the longest tricolor in the world. Thanks to the agreement with the Air Force for the first time in an Italian marathon there will be the passage of the National Aerobatic Team on the head of marathon runners. The perfect moment to let yourself be carried away by your legs and heart, with emotions that will remain forever. 2023 people are expected for the 30 edition, of which over 10 foreign participants from 110 countries. All ready to cross the finish line out of breath and excited in front of the Colosseum; all also determined to run the Run4Rome solidarity relay or the 5km Fun Run derby.
Run4Rome
There are already dozens of non-profit associations that have joined and embraced the Run4Rome charity project, the solidarity relay that boasts over 500 registered teams to date. The teams already formed for the Run4Rome Relays can decide to register through one of the charities participating in the project or directly from the event registration page. The big news this year is that individuals can join as well. The donation is already included in their registration fee.
Fun Run
Tens of thousands of people will be at the start Fun Run, five kilometers of celebration, happiness, well-being, friendship, lots of music and solidarity. You participate individually and also with your family, children or friends: the pace is free, because perhaps freedom is the word that distinguishes this event. All ages can participate: no competitive medical certificate is required. Those registered will receive a free souvenir t-shirt, in technical runner fabric, signed by the technical partner Joma, the award medal (reserved for under 18s), the bib and the Gym Bag with the sponsors' free products.
