The Court has given the OK for the restructuring of Genoa football's debt. This is a tax debt of 111 million euros and which has led the company to appeal to former articles 57, 60 and 63 of the Crisis Code. Once the approval is received from the Court, the company will pay 35% of the amount due in 20 six-monthly instalments, therefore over ten years.
An advantageous agreement for Genoa. According to the agreement, they will pledge the brand and the archive rights to save a sum of around 37 million euros. Limited market for the Ligurian club for the next two transfer windows. There won't be a real block, but Genoa will necessarily have a positive balance between entries and exits in the transfer market.
