Radio Italiani.it is the newborn radio of italiani.it, designed to give voice to independent Italian music, which has now finally become a reality. The playlist is curated by www.rec-media.it, one of the first agencies to promote Italian music. Editorial director is Philip Broglia, which has been successfully promoting radio, TV and the press for years. In this new adventure, Broglia makes use of the collaboration of the pop tenor Jonathan Cilia Faro, internationally renowned artist, originally from Ragusa.

Radio Italiani.it represents an alternative way of doing radio. As already mentioned, it only broadcasts independent music. That is, it includes a broad selection of artists representing alternative music or an underground culture, whose work may be self-produced or produced by relatively large, non-major record labels. With Radio Italiani.it, another important element is added to the already wide and varied world of italiani.it, the network of Italians in the world.
Filippo Broglia, experienced editorial director
Radio Italiani.it, even if it was born for a very short time, has already recorded important ratings. Merit of Filippo Broglia and his long experience in the world of music, which allowed him to get to know the greatest Italian artists. Indeed, the editorial director has a long career behind him which has seen him hold the position of general manager of Radio Italia Solo Musica Italiana until June 2001.
Since then, Broglia has dealt with the first digital catalogs on behalf of some international companies and has collaborated with the major Italian promotion agencies. His RECmedia, born in 2004, is one of the most quoted agencies for communication and promotion. He boasts collaborations with important producers and record companies (including Warner Music Italy, Universal Music Italy, Sugar Music, Sony Music Italy) and with artists of the caliber of Prince, Mario Venuti, Mango, Loredana Bertè, Gigi D'Alessio, Ivana Spagna, Mariella Nava, Riccardo Fogli, Jonathan Cilia Faro himself, to name a few. Radio Italiani.it also makes use of the precious contribution of the tenor Jonathan Cilia Faro, staunch defender of good music. Recently, a statement of his which appeared on italiani.it caused a sensation, in which the tenor expressed a critical judgment on the 73th edition of the Sanremo Festival and on the choices of the artistic director Amadeus. The artist, who preferred to emigrate to America in order not to submit to a system incapable – according to him – of valuing real music, has independently climbed the mountain represented by the entertainment business.
Self-taught, producer, actor, in the last decade he has shared the stage and produced unique music with important artists. Among these: Sergio Cammariere, Annalisa Minetti, Donny Most, Tom Brooks, Alan Parsons Project, Marc Martel, Mari Burelle, Michael W. Smith, Sara and Tylor M.
