The EU is thinking of the 'Covid pass', or rather a vaccination certificate to try to regain some mobility and reactivate the system of travel from one state to another. "With the vaccination certificate we aim to help the Member States to return to coordinated and safe mobility ”. Thus the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during the presentation of a new package of measures to lift travel restrictions.
The Covid pass to return to travel
European citizens will therefore be able to travel again this summer by providing proof that they have undergone the vaccination. Or that you have tested negative or been curedi from Covid-19 and have, consequently, developed antibodies. These are the key contents of the new document that will allow more freedom of movement.
The certificate, which is expected to be available from June in digital or paper format, will be interoperable and legally binding on the Member States. In addition, the Covid pass will admit all vaccines available on the market. This was explained by the European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders.

According to data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours in Italy they registered 23.059 new positive cases bringing the total to 3.281.810 since the pandemic broke out. Yesterday there were 20.396 new cases. The new deaths are 431 (yesterday 502) for a total of 103.432 since the beginning of the emergency. To date there are in Italy 539.008 currently positive, with an increase of 2.893 units compared to yesterday.
On the other hand, since the beginning of the pandemic they have been 2.639.370 the discharged healed, with an increase in the last 24 hours of 19.716. In intensive care they are hospitalized 3.317 patients, 61 more than yesterday. In home isolation they still remain 509.174 people infected, 2.413 more than yesterday. In the last 24 hours they have been carried out 369.084 molecular and antigenic swabs (yesterday 369.379). The positivity rate today is 6,2 percent (yesterday 5,5%).
