New coach in Serie B. From the whirlwind of names in recent hours, an official announcement has finally emerged (and more are expected in the next few hours).
The first name to be official is that of Maran, who will coach Brescia. Below is the official press release.
"Brescia Calcio announces that it has entrusted the technical guidance of the First Team to Mr. Rolando Maran. For the Trentino coach, with over 500 benches between Serie A and B, this is a return, after having been on Silvio Baldini's technical staff first and then by Nedo Sonetti, winning promotion to the top flight in the 1999/2000 football season; he later took on the role of technical guide of the Rondinelle for the 2005-2006 Serie B Championship. The club announces that, together with the coach Rolando Maran, Christian Maraner and Andrea Tonelli will join the technical staff of the First Team, with the roles of assistant coach and athletic trainer respectively."
