Today, April 8, there is a new record of healed. The number of infected people slightly rises compared to yesterday, and of the currently positive ones. But the day is the number of swabs performed! Let's see the data in detail:
The diffusion
Increase the number of infected every day, compared to that recorded yesterday. In fact, it goes from 3.039 infected yesterday to 3.836 today, (+797). A very slight increase over the number of swabs carried out, which reaches an all-time high since the beginning of the emergency. 51.680 tests carried out today, thus reaching a very low percentage of positives compared to the number of swabs (7,4%).
Other important data
Slight increase in the growth of currently positive every day. It goes from 880 yesterday to 1.195 today (+315). However, a very encouraging number, considering the number of tampons. Furthermore, there is an excellent data concerning the healings, where today the highest number of healed has been reached! With 2.099 healed, the previous record of 1.590 (+509) is exceeded. Slight rise also in the daily percentage change, that is, how the growth in percentage terms of total cases varies from day to day. Yesterday there was an excellent 2.29% (lowest figure recorded), while today we are at 2.83%. Here too a very slight increase, which is not a problem.
Great news for hospitals
One of the biggest problems created by this epidemic is the overcrowding of hospitals. For the past few days, we have been seeing big drops in the number total of people in intensive therapy. Even today the positive trend continues, with 99 more free seats. Also the data concerning the total of the hospitalized with symptoms is in continuous decline, with 233 fewer hospitalized!

Day after day we are seeing improvements significant in the fight against Coronavirus. This is possible thanks to the measures taken, and thanks to all the people who are meticulously respecting them. The most important thing now is not to loosen your grip, you have to continue like this. We stay at property and we respect the rules, knowing that soon we could move on to the famous “Phase 2”.
Who hasn't made it
The figure regarding the deceased is also constantly decreasing, but unfortunately still too high. Today, 542 victims are registered, (-62 compared to yesterday). Unfortunately, this figure is the last to decline, being a consequence of what has happened in the previous weeks. It is therefore hoped that these drops in infections and hospitalized patients may mean that the number of deaths is destined to drop dramatically in a short time.
