New earthquake in the Campi Flegrei, this time stronger than the small tremors of recent days. This is a 3,6 magnitude earthquake that occurred today, Monday 16 October, at 12.36 pm at a depth of 1,9 km. The shock was clearly felt by the population between Naples and Pozzuoli. The telluric event is part of the bradyseismic activity which is increasingly worrying residents. There were subsequently other tremors, at least 6, of lesser intensity.
Earthquake: some schools evacuated
Some schools were evacuated as a precaution after the earthquake. In Fuorigrotta, Agnano and Pozzuoli, primary school children were taken out of class and concentrated in the common areas of the school buildings. At the moment neither Civil Protection nor Fire Brigade report any damage to structures, people or things.
