The period Christmas approaches. It will certainly be a very different Christmas: a holiday that has to deal with Covid 19. Through the various measures put in place by the Government, attempts will be made to stop, even more, the race of this virus. Meanwhile, the most beautiful films for the whole family are back on the small screen. "Mom, I missed the plane", "The Grinch", "Santa Clause", are among the timeless films. But let's go in order, the journey into Christmas films begins. Buckle up, sofa, and popcorn at will.
Mom I missed the plane
We are back in 1990, for about three decades "Mom, I missed the plane" has been on the podium of the best-known Christmas films. A Story compelling, born from the idea of Jhon Hughes and the talent of the director Columbus. It tells the story of a child who was left alone at home during the holiday season. An exciting story that glues millions of viewers all over the world onto the television screen. The adventures of little Kevin, played by actor Macaulay Culkin, regularly return to television every year.
Kevin's Adventures
Once in Paris, Kevin's family realizes they left him at home while he slept carefree. Meanwhile, the little "brat" of the film has to face two thieves who are desperately trying to get into the house. A "brilliant" story full of fun. The magic of Christmas is felt in every single scene. Not everyone knows that the protagonist, also interpreter of “Mamma, I flew the plane in 1992, was chosen after a tough selection with 200 other little actors.
The Grinch, a Christmas movie
A 2000 film about a strange creature. The film "The Grinch" tells the vicissitudes of a little girl who lives in the fictional village of Chinoso. The protagonist Cindy Lou, near the Christmas holidays, convinces the mayor to try a reconciliation with the Grinch, a sort of evil being, at times fantastic, who leads his life with all the objects taken from the landfill. The Grinch, played by multifaceted actor Jim Carrey, will wreak havoc on Christmas Eve by disguising himself as Santa Claus. There film it grossed a whopping 123 million dollars and after two decades it stands the test of time.
Santa clause
A divorced father, a December night, a noise on the roof, these are the pieces of the Santa Clause film. The 1994 film is a real Christmas cult. During the night of Christmas intrigued by some noises on the roof, the protagonists go outside and see a strange figure on the roof. Scott, played by Tim Allen, causes this being to fall off the roof with his screams. Immediately, father and son discover that they have caused the death, unintentionally, of Santa Claus. To please his son, the protagonist decides to wear the suit of Santa Claus, left on the ground, and after having recovered the reindeer, they begin to distribute gifts throughout the city and beyond. This fantastic journey ends in North Pole with different twists, all to be savored. Good vision and happy holidays to all.
