Merit Award to four Italian researchers

The four young Italian researchers who received the prestigious Merit Award from the Conquer Cancer Foundation in the United States of America are all women. This coveted recognition must fill us with pride because it is awarded to the most deserving young scholars on the planet and Italy, thanks to these brilliant young researchers, has brought home four!

Merit Award for:

•  Marta Schirripa aged 31, who studied for a stint at University of Southern California and is specializing inUniversity of Pisa, is engaged in a study on Inos gene, implicated in the immune system and which may have a role related to the prediction of colon cancer.
  The Schirripa has been awarded since Congress of the American Society of Oncology Clinica (Asco) in Chicago receiving the Merit Award of the Conquer Cancer Foundation.
• Caterina Fontanelle, 33 years old, is instead a specialist at the Udine Hospital, after having worked for 18 months in Frankfurt at the German Breast Group.
  La Fontanella has been awarded since Congress of the American Society of oncology clinic (Asco) in Chicago receiving the Merit Award of the Conquer Cancer Foundation
• Carlotta Antoniotti,  29 years old, very young, from Podenzana in the province of Massa Carrara, is engaged in research on colorectal cancer at the'University Hospital of Pisa.
  It has been awarded since Congress of the American Society of Oncology clinic (Asco) in Chicago receiving the Merit Award of the Conquer Cancer Foundation
• Emanuela Palmerini, 30-year-old from Urbino, a specialist in oncological forms of the musculoskeletal system, is coordinating a study at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna.
  Our Italian researcher has been awarded by the Congress of the American Society of oncology clinic (Asco) in Chicago receiving the Merit Award of the Conquer Cancer Foundation in the United States, receiving the Merit Award of the Conquer Cancer Foundation.
