We have known the story of Khaby Lame for some time now, a boy born in Senegal and raised in Italy, where almost as a joke he started making short videos on TikTok, which soon transported him to the world stage.
These videos literally changed his life, leading him to incredible growth, amidst billions of views and broken records. After becoming the most followed Italian on Instagram (surpassing a certain Chiara Ferragni) continued with his simplicity and gestures to make the whole world laugh, until the goal he had just reached: the most followed TikToker in the world!
With about 142,4 million (one plus one less) he surpassed the American star Charli D'Amelio after a head that lasted months and that certainly will not end here.
Beyond the barriers
Khaby has succeeded in a truly incredible feat, made even more difficult by growing up in Italy, without knowing a word of English! But his is a universal humor, where words are superfluous, thanks to his imagination and hilarious gestures.
