A mural depicting a very young Sophia Loren enriches the heart of Naples. The work, created by the Mexican street artist Maker Garcia Chavez, is located near vico Fico del Purgatorio, an area where alleys and old houses of the ancient city intertwine.

The portrait of 'Donna Sophia' joins those of Totò, another myth of the cinema; Eduardo De Filippo, great playwright, and footballer Diego Armando Maradona, modern day 'king' of Naples.
