It is scheduled for Wednesday, December 21 at Roma the final event of Miss Italia 2022, live in streaming, with the conduction of the journalist Salvo Sottile. The title of Miss Italy 2022 will be awarded in the capital during an evening which will take place in the multimedia congress center of the Crowne Plaza Rome St. Peter's. There are 21 misses competing for the title won last year by Zeudi Di Palma, Miss Italy 2021.

The miss finalists represent, as is the tradition of the event, the entire national territory, one per region. The competitors were chosen during the pre-finals which took place in Fano, in the Marche region, at the end of hundreds of regional selections. The 21st finalist is Miss Roma, in homage to the city that hosts the final.
The 21 girls in the competition will each be witnesses of a region; they will bring their stories and those of their lands, making this historic event alive, topical and authoritative. Of great interest is the presence in the final of a figure like that of Salvo Sottile, who every day, up Raidue at "Your Facts", explores the stories of many people who animate our society.
