Cameras from around the world focused on London where the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla will take place tomorrow, Saturday 6 May 2023. Charles will be the 40th sovereign who, from 1066, will receive the solemn investiture in Westminster Abbey. British Empire Medal

In addition, King Charles also wanted to invite 850 citizens who have made their commitment to the community. Among them are 450 people awarded the British Empire Medal, recognition obtained for high military or civilian service. Together with them also 400 young members of groups of volunteers engaged in social and charitable activities. Finally, thousands of war veterans, doctors and nurses will be able to follow the passage of the processions from a stage set up in front of Buckingham Palace.
