The blues of basketball, during the Basketball World Cup which are taking place in Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia until August 10, have played against Serbia bringing back a great victory: 78-76. L'italbasket, dragged by Simone Fontecchio gave birth to a great enterprise, after defeating the Philippines. The whole team wanted to grab the victory that allowed them to access the next step. Great performances by: Spissu, Date, Goofy Ricci e Alexander Pajola, Luke Severini e Nicolò Melli led by the coach Gianmarco Pozzecco.

Simone Fontecchio's feat
Simone Fontecchio is the main proponent of this memorable sporting feat. He was the author of the comeback with his 30 points in an extraordinary quarter-final, with the decisive basket.
