We should get used to the idea of spending Christmas at home, if anything in a restaurant but with a very small circle of family members. The plan that the government has been planning for some time to manage the Coronavirus emergency and above all the risk of a new surge in infections for the holidays has been put in black and white. The new Dpcm will be launched in the next few days. But in the meantime, the new government plan, already highly contested, establishes some rules that we should take into account in the coming weeks. Let's see in detail what it contains.
Holidays away from home for many Italians
Everything will stop, or at least we will try, from December 21st to January 6th. In fact, for those wishing to "go home" or in any case move, they can do so until the 20th. From 21 onwards it will be forbidden to move between different regions. Because those before Christmas, it is well known, are the days of the year where there are more movements. Therefore the risk of gatherings would be high. Furthermore, for the Christmas holidays on 25th and Boxing Day on 26th December and for New Year's on 2021st January XNUMX, travel will also be prohibited between municipalities.
The government's new holiday plan was launched overnight
A long meeting of the Council of Ministers accompanied the launch of the new decree law. New measures on travel aimed at countering the spread of the infection have been arranged. According to when established by the decree for the holidays, which was approved on the proposal of the Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza, all the rules are extended from the current thirty to fifty days. The new Dpcm will be launched in the coming days and will replace the previous one that had placed restrictions until 3 December.
Travel will be prohibited between regions and municipalities

But from the 21st to the 6th those who have their domicile in a specific city will be able to return. But you will not be able to go to spend the holidays in second homes, if they are in a region or autonomous province other than your own. The new Dpcm will be in effect from 4 December
But it is also necessary to establish what are the rules to be respected in these weeks before the 21st. For this reason, the government is working on the new Dpcm, which will dictate the operational provisions from day 4. And in particular the behaviors will be disciplined to keep in the various regions, yellow, orange and red areas. In all probability certain rules with the curfew at 22 and the opening and closing times during the holidays for commercial activities and restaurants. Rules will also be established for the days of Christmas and for example hotel activities, where dinners and parties will be prohibited.
