A beautiful initiative of the municipality of Rome, which allows the over 80 to be accompanied for free, at vaccination centers.
The difficulties of a mass vaccination partner are manifold. From the clearest logistical problems, such as the production of doses, and the distribution and administration of the same, to problems that may be less "obvious" but equally important to overcome. One of these problems is the displacement of many elderly people from their home to the vaccination center. In Rome, the solution has been found!
Anyone over 80 who has no way of being accompanied to the vaccination centers can call 06 3570, explaining the situation and requesting a taxi. A fundamental initiative, which facilitates the movement of many people, allowing them to receive the vaccine against Covid-19.
The project is called "I'll accompany you" and was made possible, through the activity of Ania Foundation, and the collaboration of the Radiotaxi 3570 cooperative, of the Indagini3 association, of the Univerde foundation. Also receiving the patronage of Roma Capitale.
An excellent initiative that we hope can be replicated in many other Italian municipalities.
