The number of infected daily continues to drop, showing a slowdown in the growth of the number of infections. Today, in fact, 2.667 new cases have been registered, reaching a total of 165.155. These data are the result of 43.715 swabs, an increase compared to the last few days. Occurs among other things the lower percentage of positive swabs, with 6.1% positive outcomes.
Other important data
The number of currently positives grows by 1.127 units, while yesterday the growth recorded 675 new positives. This increase is due to a drop in the number of healed. Today, 962 healings have been recorded. The epidemic curve flexes again, reaching 1.64%, compared to 1.86% yesterday.
Data from hospitals
The data coming to us from hospitals is undoubtedly the most encouraging. Intensive care patients are constantly decreasing. There are 3.079 patients in intensive care, -107 out of the total number. Yesterday the decrease was 74 beds. There was also an excellent decline in hospitalized patients with symptoms, where an excellent -368 patients were recorded.
Who hasn't made it
Unfortunately, the death toll remains high. Today there have been 578 deaths. As already mentioned, this figure will be the last to suffer a significant decline, being the consequence of the infections of the previous weeks.
