Allergy sufferers who suffer from severe allergies to food, oral medications, latex, bee stings or poison can safely receive Covid-19 vaccines. This is the result of an update led by allergists from the Massachusetts General Hospital (Mg). Experts looked at the data of more than 65 people vaccinated with Pfizer, Modern and Johnson & Johnson. The latest findings, published in Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: in Practice, reassure that vaccines are safe even for those who have had episodes of anaphylaxis.
Allergy sufferers can get vaccinated against Covid

The analysis revealed that a few clear and simple initial questions are enough to identify allergy sufferers who can receive all 3 vaccines, without the need for an allergy visit. "With experience, we have been able to significantly narrow down the group of patients with previous allergies who require specialist evaluation prior to Covid-19 vaccination." Vaccines, millions of doses on the way
