Eurovision Song Contest 2023: Marco Mengoni with the song "Due Vite" won the Marcel Bezençon Composer Award for best composition. A recognition assigned by the composers of the songs in competition in the final of the European song festival. This is the second Critics Award for Italy after the 2019 one won by Mahmood with the song "Money". Mengoni, who finished fourth in the final standings, gave all of himself to the Liverpool Arena which hosted the musical event.
