On Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December, from 10,00 am to 20,00 pm, the “Porte di Catania” shopping center will host the preview of Etna Comics 2024, Day Zero, scheduled from 6 to 9 June 2024 in the “Le Ciminiere” exhibition center in Catania.

The image of the Day Zero poster of Etna Comics 2024 was created by the Catanian cartoonist Diego Fichera and sees a very sensual assistant of Santa Claus with precious gifts.
This poster will accompany the most awaited Christmas event by all fans who will meet at the gates of Catania to experience the preview, awaiting the twelfth edition of the International Festival of comics, gaming and pop culture.

There are several events to participate in during Day Zero scheduled for December 2nd and 3rd. For Harry Potter fans, it will be possible to enjoy the PotterStage, a company of young wizards and witches ready to drag those present into the parallel universe of the most loved and famous boy wizard in the world.
For body painting and tattoo painting enthusiasts, appointment with the MUA class of the Menea Srl Academy, led by Simone Stella.
Lots of fun, however, with the brothers Ettore and Dario from Catania, creators of the YouTube channel "Fandom", ready to have fun and entertain the public.
During the event it will be possible, as per tradition, to purchase season tickets at a discounted price and in limited numbers for the four days of Etna Comics.

“Etna Comics - Day Zero”, the contests
On Saturday, at 16,00 pm, the "Kung-Kung K-Pop dance contest" will be held, organized in collaboration with the OK-B3ATZ staff.
The contest for soloists and crews will take place on the stage of the Porte di Catania shopping center. The winners will qualify directly to the final phase which will take place during the XNUMXth edition of the festival.
The countdown for the Etna Comics 2024 Day Zero Cosplay Contest by Maid Okaeri has also started.
The competition will be held on Sunday 3 December at 16pm and is open to all cosplayers, from beginners to the most experienced.
Registration for the contest is completely free. The participants will be judged by a jury made up of prominent figures from the Cosplay world.

On Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd, Kayuri Watanabe, a sweet and talented artist, will also perform. She has a vast repertoire that goes from the anisongs of the moment to J-pop, and then also moves on to J-rock and demonstrating that under those "kawaii" clothes there is a feisty personality.
