Go to the Officei Florence or the Vatican museums is no longer a problem for those who have a dog and want to visit the wonders of Italy. An online platform decided to create dog sitting integrated with five of the most important sites in our country.

Those who wish can therefore book their visit and at the same time entrust their dog to dog sitter, expert and reliable people. The choice concerns Florence with the Uffizi, the Accademia gallery and the Duomo, Rome with the Vatican museums and Castel Sant'Angelo, Pisa to visit the tower and Pompeii to see the excavations of the immense city buried by the eruption of 79 AD. The idea comes from TipForDog.com, a platform that has been active for years in the planning and organization of trips and activities in the company of their four-legged friends.

“We have selected people who look after dogs for work - the words Marco Fabris, CEO and founder of Tripfordog.com - they are experts who know how to make them play safely and also rest when needed. They organize themselves to make them stay in places where there is shade, always looking for their well-being ".

Package for visiting museums and dog sitter

Anyone who wants to visit the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel or other established sites exists a real package. This includes a skip-the-line ticket and the drop off and drop off of your dog at the beginning and end of the visit. During the hours inside the museum, the dog sitter will take care of the dog exclusively. A management that solves many possible problems to be faced. In Florence it is also available overnight stay in b & b, while in Rome the dog sitting service lasts four hours.

The ticket and four hours of dog sitting for the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel cost 70 euros while it takes 40 euros for Castel Sant'Angelo. The offer for Florence costs around 400 euros (also includes accommodation and access to the Uffizi Gallery, Accademia Gallery and Florence Cathedral), the tour to Pisa 45 euros, always with a maximum of two hours of assistance for your dog. In Pompeii, however, small dogs are allowed to visit.

It is not the first time that we have tried to find a solution to not leave our dogs far from their owners. The Hangar Bicocca in Milan and the Turin Cinema Museum had launched the open museums initiative precisely for this type of clientele. The Museum of Civilizations at Eur di Roma had launched a similar initiative on the occasion of the exhibition on the relationship between man and dog.

The idea, born from the experience of the platform in organizing trips with their furry friends, arises from the need to solve an aspect that can radically change the dynamics of a day.
