Digital transition, Tropea is the first municipality in Italy to start with the experimentation for the construction of the national computerized archive of civil status registers. From the simple family status certificate to the identity document, in the battle against dematerialisation and the elimination of paper from the public administration, this is an obligatory step for the digital transition.
Digital transition
That's what the mayor Giovanni Macrì expressing satisfaction for this important result which rewards the attention that the municipal administration continues to devote to the protection of the environment and the improvement of services to citizens. Basically the other side of the coin of the project promoted by the Ministry for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition. The project that starts from the Calabrian Tropea as the very first national experiment is intended to simplify the performance of the activities carried out by the civil status officers and those of the registry office, facilitating the real-time exchange of data relating to citizens. At the moment the civil status documents produced by the offices of Town Hall, they are made with the analogical procedure, as is done in all other municipalities. But, in parallel they are processed, the only ones in all of Italy, with a digital system and transferred to the archive.
Through the funding obtained from the municipal administration, all the offices will be involved in the overall process towards the digital transition, from the administrative area to the municipal police who, for example, will notify any sanctions digitally and no longer manually. From the Spid, passing through the Electronic Identity Card, up to the Pago Pa. The goal is to move completely from the analogical system to the digital one. The entire municipal machine, from the first to the last employee, will be affected by the training activity aimed at adapting skills and knowledge to this change.
